Backstreet Cruise
Cozumel, Mexico
Beach Party with the Backstreet Boys, hell yeah! I woke up with such excitement plus major headache which I believe came from not having much sleep, I do know I woke up at like 8:00am and took a shower and got ready. I’m not sure what I did between the time from I was ready to when I met with Cathy and we were up on the Lido deck but I do remember we were enjoying some sun on the very top and having our first drink of the day just chatting waiting until we got to Cozumel.
Cathy, Jessica and myself were in the B group so we left the boat last and to make time go by quicker I ended up having a drink but it didn’t really work it did seem forever until we were able to get inside with our wristband and be seat until further notice.
I’m not sure about anyone else but I was excited and I couldn’t wait to be there. We all got onto the bus and when we finally saw that we were turning into the area I screamed I was glad to finally arrived and get the day started.
We walked and found Erika sitting at a table underneath the tent and I had to go soak my feet into the beach before I could do anything else so that’s what I had done and I was happy to be in that warm beach and sand although the sand was sort of rough.
Afterwards I had gotten some food which was a buffet and I didn’t like it much and a drink I started with a strawberry Daiquiri, then I ended up having a beer, and I also ordered a Pina Colada but I ended up leaving it at the table, :\ lol! I went to take some photos’ and ran into Krista and we got our photo together, and then I saw that she had her hair done and I wanted to do that as well and she told me where I can get it so I went, the lady even tried to hurry up towards the end since the boys were coming out ha-ha but I told her it was okay to take her time but there wasn’t much left to do (yay) LOL.
I went to try and find Cathy and Krista and I eventually did through the big crowd and I got onto a chair and then the best thing happened I was moved by a Rose Tour member and I was able to sit right in front of the stage and see the boys perfectly!
I saw them up on the balcony where Nick squirted fans with the water gun, Howie and James playing and of course James was blowing kisses I thought it was just too adorable!
The boys came out and came onto the stage and started talking for a bit and Brian started playing with the huge beach ball (he was really into it) and the ball came over to me on the ground so I picked it up and I had a hard time throwing it back to Brian ha-ha so now I know to never play with the huge beach ball unless I want to embarrass myself I thought I was going to throw it and hit Brian in the face but I didn’t, whew!
The boys started off with playing Twister with some fans and I loved seeing how Nick was so into it and wanting to win and of course you had a few butt shots to take if you wanted ha-ha.
At one point Nick started talking and he disappeared he ran off the stage and people started following so that’s when a Rose Tour’s member told me he went into the beach I was like oh cool, but I can’t see and he says “you can go and come back” and I told him thanks and went to go see where he was as I was trying to exit I walked right into the area where it was roped off from fans and I saw Leighanne there taking photo’s with fans so I figured this would be the perfect time to ask her what I needed too I waited while she took photo’s but she saw me and say hey to me with a huge smile and told me to wait, when it was time I asked her quickly about my bag and I explained to her and she told me how and I thanked her and she told me she be back later but I believe we hugged I can’t remember ha-ha
I saw AJ on the trampoline and I couldn’t find Nick for a little bit then someone told me he was paddling and then climbing on the Iceberg lol.
I saw AJ start walking back and fans were trying to get photo’s I was thinking too but I figured no he’s already stopped for a few so I just took a few photos and just waited to see what Nick was doing but after shortly after he started coming out and I’m trying to get a few photo’s and then I saw fans asking for photos and taking some so I tried it and of course at that time I had no idea that Mike was saying no photos hence I can’t hear well and my back was turned from him so I couldn’t read his lips either but of course I snapped a shot and got a photo of us which turned out to be alright considering that I was walking while I took it ha-ha.
When I got back to my spot I saw Mike so I explained to him what happened and I didn’t want him to think wrong and he told me he wasn’t mad and understood which made me happy.
I sat down and watched Brian and Howie doing some limbo with fans afterwards it was time for AJ and Nick and they choose 4 fans from the crowd and of course I was trying to get picked (who wouldn’t right) well not sure if AJ noticed me or not but Nick did see me but he teased me once again tsk tsk! Ha-ha, that boy and I will have a talk someday oh yes we will!
Again I left my spot and went to go watch AJ, Nick and fans play tug of war and I won’t forget the end when Nick was taking a photo with fans how he looked at me, *sighs*
I went and watched Brian play volleyball I have no idea how I missed it when Nick was but oh well ha-ha I just watched Brian, Lani and fans and Leighanne was behind me taking photo’s with fans so I went up and went to see if I could get one which I did and we posed with I Love You sign and I told her about how my mom doesn’t believe me bout her adopting me and she goes “she wants the paper’s” I said “yea she does” and we both laughed lol!
Shortly after Brian came over and he took photo’s with some fans and I asked for one and he goes “how many is this now” I’m like about 80,000 and he goes yea that’s right” LOL and we laughed, and Leighanne posed as well he had to get back to his family so my friend and I let them be.
I figured I saw Nick just standing and talking with Lauren so I asked him if I could get my photo, I was like you promised and he just pointed at me and he walked away with Lauren I said to myself, I may of not gotten a photo but I got a point, it’s all good, ha-ha!
After a while Brian came over I was like “Brian you’re mean” he goes “I’m not mean” and does this funny look and I said yes “you are” ha-ha and took some more photo’s with fans and I finally pushed my friend in to get hers due to fans just being a tad pushy and at the point Brian asked us why we were being pushed back ha-ha I don’t know why but then he talks to my friend and she tells him it’s my camera and he goes what camera I’m looking at, I said mine right here, he goes “hurry up, you going to get me into trouble” ha-ha :o
So the sun was setting over the ocean which was amazing and so beautiful I ended up taking a photo of it and then I had my friend take one of me in front of it and it’s one of my favorite photos I took from the entire trip!
On our back to the boat it was upsetting I wasn’t happy I was really sad, I had such a amazing time and it was sad to see it end but I told myself that I would be seeing the boys back on the boat so I was fine then.
Jessica and I made plans to meet up for dinner and we went and sat down on the 1st level and we also had Lindsey sitting with us as well, *waves* it was great seeing her since I hardly saw her on the trip itself, lol! I ended up ordering Pineapple juice with rum with my dinner and enjoyed what I had (I was pretty hungry since I hardly ate at the beach party)
Until it was time for the Karaoke with Backstreet Boys we went to Cathy’s cabin and hanged out since her door was open we were sharing our stories and waiting for Krista and I guess I passed out (photo to prove it) right on Cathy’s bed ha-ha I didn’t even know Krista came in until I woke up but let’s just say the cat nap is what I needed because I was up and ready to go for the Karaoke lol!
We go down and I get told I’m sitting someplace different and if I had guest and Jessica was there with me for the night we get escorted to our seats which were right in front of the stage and I was full of excitement and what made this event awesome is that I could read the boys lips very well and I could understand what they were saying or singing which also helped me sing along ;) As we were sitting Nick and Lauren walked right by us from the right side and Nick ended up giving me a big smile and they walked onto the stage.
I thought this event was awesome the guys were into it and having fun, fans were able to join and do some with the boys, if I knew how to signed up I would of but I was clueless but it’s probability a good thing I didn’t go up there ha-ha. I loved how Brian was goofing off before Bust A Move he really was goofing off with me and I couldn’t stop laughing (as you can see in my video, blame him not me) ha-ha and at one point we even like exchanged a few words bout the boat rocking, I was like “yeah I feel it too” and made puke motions a few times through the event.
During Bust A Move AJ comes in front of me a few times, one time he sang to and held my hand very quick, then he comes back and right in front and starts humping afterwards he gave me a high five, ha-ha.
I will admit watching the boys and the fan during Baby Got Back was amusing, the boys were loving it and the fan owned the show.
After Karaoke we were told about AJ being in the casino so we headed over there and watched him play some blackjack, it was fun to see him out and just being him, I did offer him a drink/shot but he did refuse saying “let me settle and see but thank you for the offer, I appreciate it” and now other fans did buy him drinks and he ended up giving it to other people because he needed to finish what he had first. AJ asked bout how if it was just him feeling the boat rocking and I told him “no I feel it too” he happened to do this during Karaoke as well, ha-ha Jessica and I watched him for awhile before I knew hat time it was we ended up heading to bed for the long day ahead of us the next day but we made plans to meet up for breakfast and I just remember passing out but also remembering the good memories I’ve had.
