Backstreet Cruise
Fun Day
I woke up gotten ready and waited for Jessica so we could go have breakfast.
The day was pretty much chilled since the meet and greet wasn’t happening until 12:00pm, but we did go find the Criterion Lounge because I wanted to know where I was needing to be but I pretty much hanged out with Cathy and Jessica I believe and one point, it was Cathy, Jessica, Krista, her husband and myself in the casino and we were playing this game with quarter’s and I came so close to winning the 10.00 in the machine but it got stick so I got help and the guy was so sweet he opened it for me and gave me my money and I also won a hat, but I ended up giving it to Krista so she could give it to her son.
We were relaxing at a table next to the casino and just chatting and just watching people go for their meet and greet. I was amazed the boys were doing photo’s for three hours by the time they got to rest of us.
During this time I happened to able to meet Lauren and I told her I didn’t want to bother her I just had to tell her that it was pleasure to meet her and that to ignore all the haters, after we got our photo taken she told me that her and Nick were planning to watch football and for me to come join them so I said sure, and told her good-bye.
It seemed like forever until it was time for the photo op we were able to wait in a lounge bar area so we just chilled and talked I knew eventually it was going to happen so I just prepared myself but I wasn’t prepared enough I suppose.
Jessica and I were waiting our turn so we just stand by the door and we can see what is happening soon as the people in front of us left we started to walk in and Nick welcomes with “Hey Baby” my response was “Did you just call me baby” he goes “Of course” with a huge smile so I was totally on cloud nine already so I walked up to him and we hugged and it was a tight one *grins*. I turned and saw AJ standing near by so I went to go give him a hug while my friend Jessica was going to give Nick a hug so we sort of had a tangled moment so AJ was like yeah this isn’t going to work so I moved over a bit and we hugged. I walked over to Howie and he remembered me again and said “hey” and gave me a hug, and not last but least Brian was next and I said hello stranger ha-ha and we hugged and let me tell you this hug was amazing it was a nice touch but tight hug *swoons*
So I go stand between Nick and AJ and Jessica stood between AJ and Howie so that’s when I told her to go stand between Brian and Howie because I knew she wanted to be next to Brian ha-ha.
We get our first photo taken so I get ready to say good-bye but I guess we were getting another photo taken so I quickly stood my position after the photo was taken, I ended up giving Nick another hug and kissed side neck again (don’t know why I do that but it’s the spare of the moment I guess, I don’t it before) lol!
I told AJ and Howie good-bye as well and then when it came to Brian, I took his hand and said God Bless and he said “god bless you too” and we left.
Jessica and I talked to others about our experience and whatnot and to be honest I’m sure we were all over the boat killing time until it was time to get ready for the dinner.
I was on the Lido deck chatting up with Jessica, Erika, Holly, Amy and her mom and after a short while Brian and his family and friend’s sat right near us and had some pizza and champagne.
All I remember is after dinner I had a nervous breakdown thinking I had left my camera at the dining room but it was in my tote after all I swear that was the fastest I ever walked in my life but after that melt down we ended up going to Cathy’s room to hang out until it was time for the concert and of course I ended up falling asleep again but yet I had my cat nap and was ready to go for the concert!
I was shown my seat and sat down and I was trying to hold my excitement ha-ha.
After a few minutes or so AJ came out and he came down and hugged couple of fans that were in the front and I just sat in my seat just watching and next thing I know he comes over and wants to give us a hug so I got up and got my hug *swoons* I figured this was my chance.
I told AJ that I never really bothered him this cruise for a photo and was wondering if I could get one and he said sure of course so Jessica and I ended up getting our photo taken and I thanked him afterwards.
As he was walking up to the stage I noticed Howie was there so I asked AJ if he could get Howie down here, Howie and AJ were having some conversation about shoes (that is worn for the concert) before he came down and I said “Howie, I haven’t really bugged you for a photo this entire cruise could I possibly get a picture” he replies “well why not” I said “privacy”? and laughed a bit and we got our photo taken and I thanked him and he headed back up to the stage, while Jessica and I were talking bout what just happened someone came up to me and told me that they wanted me and a guest to have the VIP wristbands for tonight’s deck party and I thanked and hugged I couldn’t believe it!
The show was awesome, we got the entire This Is Us show minus the dancer’s and I loved it! AJ and Nick came into the crowd a few times and Brian came into the crowd once which happened right in front of me. I had major eye contact with Nick and AJ *grins*
After the show headed to VIP area as we were waiting for to start I saw Lauren on the couch and I just called her name and waved to her she ended up going to someone and talking to him and she came to me shortly after and told me that once everyone gets in and the boys have came that I was going to come in and sit with Nick and her and had a few drinks and watched the boys for a little bit, Nick came over to us for a little bit and got onto the table it happened so fast that I didn’t get time to get my camera out.
It was getting a little crowded due to people shoving upward and I was being shoved again against the barricade things and it just was very comfortable but I ended up being one of the first ones up here I wasn’t leaving.
I saw Suzanne getting a drink so I went over to just give her quick nudge hug she ended up giving me a huge hug, then her husband gave me a huge big hug and they went into VIP so Suzanne’s husband tells me he’ll see me later.
Leighanne came over as well and said hello to us and she saw me gave me a big smile and held my hand, and I whispered something into her ear and she went back to Brian and everyone.
Well due to the high winds and the cold the party was moved down to the club we were told that if we went down there we would get inside right away since we had VIP so as everyone rushed we got there and there was girls everywhere so we wasn’t sure how to get in so I sort of pushed through trying to do so without being rude to just see what we were supposed to do but the person at the door was very rude but I just wanted to know the details but then I couldn’t move to get back out so I waited and then they eventually said whoever has VIP could get in so Jessica and I finally got inside but we couldn’t get anywhere close to the VIP area so I got through once again without trying to be rude because I was just trying to figure things out I saw Lani and asked him but he said there wasn’t nothing could have been done (which I found out later that was total b.s.) ha-ha but after a short while of seeing Nick and AJ not really able to breathe my friend and I decided to just leave because it wasn’t really worth it.
After talking to someone and being so confused and seeing how people were just walking into VIP door’s I was told that Brian was in the casino, so we headed over there to just watch.
I see Brian, Leighanne, Jodi, Kurt, Suzanne and Suzanne husband at the blackjack table I asked Jodi how she was doing and she said not good but meanwhile as to watching them I was told that Lauren didn’t go to bed she was right there playing craps so the people inside the club had lied.
I tapped Lauren and was just saying hello we talked for a quick moment and she told me to stay here because Nick was coming in a bit and I saw that two of the girls I met in VIP was sitting where I was standing so I just hanged out there with them for while watching Lauren play craps, Littrell’s play Blackjack and having interesting conversations with Lauren’s dad, he even let me have some of his drink before he drank out of it, ha-ha.
Brian and Leighanne left at one point but the others stayed for a little awhile longer.
Eventually Nick shows up and he’s right in front of me talking to Lauren and Lauren ends up telling him about me and he looks at me and goes “I know her” and looks at Lauren and she explains about the photo and he comes to walk to me and puts his arm around me and now I don’t know word from word but this is what I do know what he said “you know I would love to take a photo with you, but if I take one with you, I'll have to take one with all these other girls, you know I love you”
Right then and there I was on cloud nine again I mean I couldn’t believe those words but I told him that’s okay I totally understand and in my mind it was TOTALLY fine I just had the best moment with him that I could think of and totally unexpectedly!
Nick also takes off his blue shirt he had worn for Black and Blue and all I remember is reading his lips about giving it to a fan and my heart was set on getting that it would of made the end of my trip the best ever so but he was trying to explain to it and of course he was standing right in front of me and I just couldn’t focus but he did say that it’s his favorite shirt and he was going to just throw it over his head but Lauren got him to give it to him, so he looks down at me and hands me the shirt and from there I wasn’t scared to show how happy I was I hugged it and didn’t let go of it and bout ten minutes later I ended up putting it on so I wouldn’t lose it or anything but having that shirt was the best thing to end my trip, it’s something I will treasure FOREVER!
Suzanne and her husband walked by us to go to their room and Suzanne ended up giving me a hug good-bye, I told her it was great seeing her and hugged.
After awhile Nick left to go to the bathroom and didn’t come back, Lauren went to go play some blackjack but it coming 4:00am I decided it was time to go try and get at least couple hours of sleep to at least get through the next day so I told Lauren it was nice meeting her and I made a motion that I was going to go to sleep and she did it as well and told me good-night.
I went back to my cabin got into the covers and remembered all the good things that happened and fell asleep holding the Nick’s shirt close to my heart.
