Well I'm not going to go into much detail of my entire trip expect that it is VERY pretty and that I should have had a lot more money but didn't even think of it until I arrived and well Andrew went with me since other plans were not 100% and whatnot, but we did get lost on our way up there, but it happens right?
So let's fast forward all the way to Aug 1st 2007, the day of the show and what I've been waiting for. I woke up about 9:00am and we was going to go visit the national park but it turns out we didn't have the money for it so we had to turn around and as we did I saw the sign for the place where the event was taking place so we turned there as I told Andrew I wanted to check it out and see what's going on so when I do arrive later I'll know what I'm doing. We walked into 3 different building's due to not that any building had a label. I walked in and saw the stage and chair's and knew it had to be it and as I stood there I saw two people just wandering around then I noticed it was Brian and Leighanne well to be honest I was shy as hell so I kept trying to Andrew to come over so we could just look like we're just browsing well as he came over I stood there could not make a move I didn't want to be rude he was checking to make sure the instruments was working correctly and about to do sound check.
Few moment's later Andrew called him over and he shook Andrew's hand then came over to me and shook my hand and asked what my name was. I told him then I asked him if he remember me and then he did this puzzle look and tried to think, I go "Fredrick, front row, me and my mother" and he goes "Oh yea, you both look like sister's"! and we all laughed, and I told him that's a first because usually I get told that I look like my dad a lot but it was cool, then I asked him how he was liking Estes Park and he said it's beautiful and it's been great to be there since he hasn't been there since 20 year's before, and I told him it was my first time too, shocking yes I agree myself, then Andrew asked him if I could get a picture which wasn't really needed but Brian asked and so we did and I asked if I could have a huggy picture due to the fact that every photo of me and him are just side to side we needed something different *nods* so we did and well it was a great feeling, and I was so happy, I thanked him and he said he'll see me later he had to go start sound check and well I got kicked in before he started which sucked and well I also wanted to talk to Leighanne but she disappeared as soon as Brian and I started talking but I just hoped to see her later.
So we had hour's to kill we went to the shops and let's say that was a big mistake because we found so many thing's we liked then after that we went to have lunch took it back to the hotel and then I took a nap. I woke up about 4:30pm got ready and Andrew took me due to the fact that he wasn't feeling so well he was sick so I went alone. I arrived and there was 5 other people in front of me well how about we just forward to the waiting part, sounds good to me.
They opened the door's at about 6:45pm and I went to the right as the guy said and I got a spot right in the front J and it was perfect. Almost every performer sang about four song's, expect Brian, he sang 6 and ½ song's. After the first act which was Jamie Brian and Natalie sort of co-hosted the concert by coming out and talking about the next performer, it was awesome!
she was pretty good, got all of us on our feet and enjoy the show. I have to say I was really into Rush Of Fools so much that I ended up buying their CD during the intermission of the show and they were all there and even signed my CD and shook my hand and introduce themselves. J Well after I was done I headed back to my seat since Brian was on next. I was so happy this was the moment I was waiting for, I was proud to show who I was there for.
Brian came out and I have to say he blew the crowd off their feet I mean by the third song everyone was into him and cheering, even girls was trying to move up to be closer.

After he sang couple of song's he asked the crowd if we have the Welcome Home CD and there was I, just cheering having my arms up proud like no other and there goes Brian spotting me and he does the exact thing I do and goes "There's her going, I do I do, oh yes" LOL
Well after a wonderful 6 and ½ song's he had to leave the stage right before he left I got the courage to go up there and give the card and note that I had from when he was here few months ago for Fredrick, and he came back took it from me looked into my eyes and said thank you, and that there just made me smile and knew that I forever could be happy.
Few moment's later he came out and introduced Natalie to perform, and he had such beautiful words about her as Natalie had for him when she introduced him.
Brian had us laughing in our chair's the entire night from talking about rollercoaster's, how he was so young and he came to Estes Park 20 year's ago and how he was old enough to ride the go karts at fun city and he really was old enough he said J , he also did great imitations of plane's, HAHA! I could go on forever but he seriously kept making jokes that just had us laughing and smiling, and people wonder why we love this guy so much? Another thing I did notice is how much friend's that Brian and Natalie have, become so sweet.
Well I stayed for a bit to see Natalie, and since I found out she was the last performer I would go give Andrew a call and told him to start heading his way. Few moment's later I saw Brian and Leighanne walk towards the backstage stage and so I wanted to get Leighanne's attention but I didn't want to rude but then I went by there and saw one of Brian's band member's and I asked him if he could get Leighanne for me and that he did, she came out couldn't see who I was but then soon as she got into the light she remembered me, and we talked for about good ten minutes about Baylee, Brian himself, Estes Park, and my friend Gretchen. She said that Baylee wanted to come so bad but since this was a short trip they did not bring him, after moment's of talking Leighanne told me about the meet and greet and I suppose they asked Brian and Leighanne if they could stay for 10 minutes to do it since they were leaving that night and so Leighanne told me to go to the meet and greet so I did I went back and brought the cards for $3.00 and waited in line, Brian was first so it wasn't so bad of the wait and as it was my turn I walked up with this look like "shy Shay" and he goes "oh you again" I said "Yes, but only because Leighanne told me to come" and then out of the blue I remembered the nickname so I straight up asked him "did you know I have a nickname for you" and he spoke out "Yes, dough boy right" I was like "whoa" and I said "it fits you doesn't it" and he said "yeah" and starts laughing (great moment) and then I told him again thanks for coming, shook his hand and left, and still waiting for Andrew I went over to Leighanne and got on the phone with Gretchen and had them talk for a bit although they were having bad time with service connection ha-ha but I told the guy it wasn't the mountain's, it was Sprint's fault and Leighanne just busted up laughing, then I asked her if it wasn't a bother if we could get a photo since it's been forever and she said sure, and well out of the blue of the photo we were both laughing, and that's how the photo came out, then Andrew found me so I told Leighanne good-bye and to have a safe trip home and we hugged, and told him to tell Brian bye for me, and I departed.
