Healthy Hearts Club Charity Event
June 14th and 15th 2009
This trip was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it a lot, it was definitely something I needed and I am so forever grateful for this.
Founder’s Hall:
We arrived pretty early they were still setting up Brian was outside helping and we sort of walked right by him and a car and he looked at us and we made eye contact and he gave us a smile I just smiled but didn’t say anything as we entered into the area we were told to go inside and also go to the bar which wasn’t even open yet so therefore that’s where we got really confused so we went into the room with the tables and I guess Brian was sound checking and bunch of other stuff as to Leighanne comes towards us and we followed her and she was telling us how we couldn’t be in there yet but she stays to chat with us for a little bit and she gave us all hugs, she saw me and had a big smile on her face. She showed us that her outfit was Wylee and then we told her we had Wylee bags and when she looked to see if I had one she was shocked I was like I don’t have it with me and she goes why, I’m like I forgot it ha-ha and my friends made a comment about how I don’t get to sit with them anymore because I didn’t have my Wylee bag and Leighanne goes “yeah you don’t get to sit with them” and laughs as I laugh along with her. Leighanne was doing in the nice sweet way of having to shove us out of the door so we did go back outside and wait until it was time to go in and yes of course backstreet time.
When we got inside we went to grab a table and we got the end table since the tables we were going to get had reserve on it but yet I was told I could sit there if needed but I just decided to sit at the table we were at it seemed to be okay I just had to hope that Brian would be talking towards me so that’s when Kris and I went to go find Brian to talk to him and we found him at the bar and he wasn’t busy talking to anyone so that was good. Kris told him that he had to talk towards me, and I laughed and goes TOWARDS me because it was funny how Kris was saying it and we both laughed and Brian goes “OKAY” like really slow and I just couldn’t help but laugh and Brian also goes “I already know about her, and who she is and many many times” I guess Kris told Brian that I was scared to talk to him, and Brian laughed and said I didn’t need to be or I don‘t look like it, and the entire time I was digging my finger’s into my left arm, which I kept doing until I had a beer. Well I also talked to Brian about my mom and I wasn’t sure if he remembered so I told him bout the Fredrick Colorado show and he goes “yes I remember her” I was asking him if it was possible to maybe do a get well video for her because I explained to him about how she has kidney disease and I just think it would make her feel better and he started singing with a pretend microphone going “get well, get well” *laughs* I was like yeah something like that we don’t need a serious video but he didn’t say he would but he said no promise and I told him that is fine. He asked me how she was doing and I told him the basic’s like she’s doing fine it’s just been rough on her she just started her dialysis couple months ago and such but he did tell me to tell her to feel better which was sweet he seemed so concerned.He also told us about his grandma who hurt herself she broke her right shoulder and elbow and was getting out of rehab that day and I told him my prayer’s and thoughts are with him and he told me thank you, I was no problem and I believe he also told Kris and I that James looks a lot like Howie.Later in the conversation we got to talking bout Baylee because Kris asked Brian why he wasn’t here and Brian goes “Because he’s six years old”! I just laughed and Kris also asked bout him golfing tomorrow and I cannot remember what he said exactly but I know he did say it was because that he wasn’t good but after a little bit of more talking we had let Brian go and we went to go sit down. Baylee’s karate teacher and his wife sat our table and told that Baylee got a gold belt in karate which is pretty awesome. Kris also told me what was Brian’s drink and I went to go try one and wow it was strong ha-ha.
Brian and Leighanne came to welcome us and brought some entertainment while we ate dinner and I have to say the food was good but really different for me it was new to me but the desserts was good I had two chocolate covered strawberries and they were so good!It was also very cute to watch Brian and Leighanne dance together and for sure I thought he was going to drop her at one point ha-ha I was a bit worried.My friend’s and I also danced with Leighanne during to As Long As You Love Me and she saw me doing baby circles and started doing it with us, and it was really fun I enjoyed that moment.
At this point I went and waited to talk to Brian and when I noticed he wasn’t busy I tapped him and asked if he had a moment to talk and he said sure what’s up and I was like explaining to him of how I was told by fans on Live Daily and I asked him if he knew bout that site and he said yes and I was telling him how I get hate messages and he goes “WellI do too” I was like no way and people telling me that Leighanne and him hates me and such and I wasn’t sure how to feel bout that he was really surprised and concerned but I felt I needed to ask him to like move on because it really bugged me. He basically was trying to block people out to really talk to me because people started coming up to get his attention and I did the same I blocked people out because I really was into what he was saying, and he basically said Let me ask you a question, does those people that talk, do they have lives? All that talk is BS (Backstreet crap) you shouldn't listen to what other people say, be the bigger person, then he goes “just from now tell them you heard it from the horses mouth that it’s not true, and you just got to choice what to believe in, tell yourself and then he asked me “Do you think I hate you” I go“well yes and I was like uh wait no” and he when I said yes he was like surprised but he knew what I meant it was pretty funny and yet he seemed concerned again and he goes into that he was out of town couple days ago and Leighanne had called him to read story time to Baylee which I thought was very sweet but he starts explaining the story to me but yet he forgets the book title *laughs* and told to ask his wife and still at this point I was trying to block out much as possible of noise and people around me because I was really focusing and into what he was trying to tell me but as he was explaining about the wooden little boy and message of it brings about God creating everyone equally and it doesn’t matter who you are God loves you and I was totally overwhelmed I had to like seriously keep back my tears. I also explained that I think this was all coming from the sound check I had seen him bout the nickname I had for him and that he was mad and hated it and this point Leighanne came to get him because some people were leaving so he said he’ll be right back he had to say some good-bye’s and I said no problem and so I waited and it took some time and Brian even knew he had to get back to me he kept looking at me during the conversations he was having but I was being patient. As he came back to me afterwards I finished explaining what I was going to say he was like not at all he totally understood what I meant even though I explained it to him of why I called him that and yet he laughed and said it was okay basically so that gave me a huge relief and I also explained how lucky I was to be here because I had no job but yet I was still here and he goes “yeah I don’t have a job either” I said “yes you do you’re a Backstreet Boy” and Sofia goes “That’s just part time” and Brian was like “Yeah part time” *laughs* but he was just telling me to have a good time, I just ended it with a thank you and asked for a hug, and I got my photo with him and I asked him for a funny photo and he goes “a funny photo alright” and for some reason my camera was not wanting to use the flash but finally after the 4th time it worked *whew* I stood around watching everyone else and I took Arianna’s photo for her and yet I held the camera and beer in my hand at the same time and Sofia was like “let me take that for you” and Brian was laughing about that and was doing drinking motions which was pretty hilarious and shortly later he had to go so he did his famous “Gotta Go” saying.
Brian also presented us Elvis and it seemed a lot of people enjoyed him and I loved Leighanne and Elvis together it was pretty funny and of course Brian was enjoying too ;) After Elvis’s performance the song Everyone came on and we saw Brian doing the solider moves and Sofia and I both waved him to come dance with us and he did, it was awesome and later on when it was finished I got my hug and told him thank you and after he was doing talking to the fans and such he said “hey ladies I gotta go” it was cute no matter how much he does it I never get tired it. *laughs* I had a great time just enjoying myself not worrying about anything, dancing to the Backstreet songs, having fun I even did the dance to Larger Than Life and did some to Everyone.
When Brian did his auctioning for two roundtrip tickets from Delta {Doesn’t everything lead to Altanta} I found it so funny how Kris kept saying she had a question and Kris had another question and I got Brian’s attention telling him that she has another question to he came over and when Kris made a bid he was pretty shocked and kept saying “Are you serious” Brian explained who Kayla was and from there it was pretty happy tears at the end and I went to hug Kris and help her feel better because she was crying and as I looked around I saw Leighanne standing by our table with tears in her eyes as well and with them both crying I wanted to cry myself.
They also did a action for a GPS and a cell phone and this when I moved to the floor because I had a hard time reading Brian lips, I also told Brian how I thought he meant UPS and not GPS and he goes “No no, I said GPS” *laughs*I found it pretty funny when Kris asked if Brian’s number came with the cell phone, *laughs* and he told Kris it was a great question but it wasn’t included. Leighanne also used her scarf that she got from Elvis and put it on her head and started Mediating so that’s when I figured why not I’ll go over too and we ended up having a blast and full of laughs it was great. Brian at one point walked by and looked at us and Sofia told him that were mediating Brian mediating and he says into the microphone Mediation and she goes yes mediating with Leighanne. I told Leighanne I liked her scarf and she gave it to me and shortly after the winning was done, I went to talk to Leighanne and I explained her the same I did to Brian and Leighanne was pretty upset and she wanted like more information and was really concerned but I told I was just wanting to ask about the book and I explained to her how Brian told me the story and she didn’t know but she did try to get Tracy’s attention and that didn’t work she just told me to ask her which I never did get to find her and I told her she could have the scarf back and she touches my arm and goes “no it’s your’s” and she smiled as I replied aw well thank you and smiled back.
I saw Brian signing for some people so I went over and I was like crap I got something so I ran to get it ha-ha {I was hyper due to my beer’s, sue me} I told that we played the BSB game and I asked if he remembers that and he did and I told him that I had to draw him in 30 seconds or less and this is what I came up with and he was impressed but I explained to him that Arianna drew the nose ha-ha and as he signed it he wrote “That’s Me” *laughs* he ended up signing both paper’s I had which I didn’t mean too I was just not sure what one I wanted him to sign at that point. I asked him if it was possible to do the video and he said not tonight and I asked him bout tomorrow and he said maybe and I said no problem because I knew how busy but I did ask him about his drink I asked him how many it takes for him to get drunk and he says “not a lot” I said well of course they are so strong and he goes “no they aren’t strong”! *laughs* uh huh sure Brian! *ahem* I was proud of how well he entertained his family, friend’s and fan’s and it was great seeing Brian in a great mood, doing funny face’s and impression’s.
At the end he was doing last minute picture’s and such and I told him thank you for doing the event it made me very happy and he said thank you and I gave him a high five. As my friend and I were walking out Brian and Leighanne was walking out and I told them to be safe and then we all headed back to the hotel to get much rested as we could but for me it didn’t happen *falls*
White Columns Country Club:
I got up at 6:30am and got ready because I figured earlier the better and Sofia braided my hair which was like the best idea I had because it was nice that my hair didn’t bother me once ha-ha. I rode with Debbie, Kris and Tissie so I could spend some time with them as we was driving to the club we saw a hummer H2 and it ended up being Leighanne driving it and it was pretty funny and I always meant to ask her how it feels to drive such a big vehicle. As we parked and waited for Debbie and Kris we saw Prue (Baylee’s best friend) and Baylee get out of the vehicle and he looks right over to us for a few seconds I didn’t know to turn around or wave so I just stood there and looked away ha-ha but not everything was set up which made me want to help but I didn’t want to bother anyone about but we did sign in and got our bracelet and just waited until we got further instructions from Madison and basically we just everyone do million things at once it seemed and at one point Brian walked by Kris and I and Kris asked him if he was channeling Tiger Woods by wearing tiger red and he said no he was wearing Littrell’s red, because Littrell's rule!! *laughs* I ended up meeting my other friend Marta at the event and we all hanged out pretty much. It was pretty funny because people would ask us where a certain someone went and yet we knew and Brian came out and was like “Where’s the boss” and we told him and he replies with “I’m glad people know who that is right away” being so silly.
Shortly after they finally announced about the breakfast food’s, water’s and such so I did go have a few chocolate muffins, it was so good, hah. Brian did a couple of interview’s and one of them he was doing something with food hah.
They finally started and Brian had Baylee introduce and to welcome us all and yet he was being so shy and didn’t want to say anything but he opened up a little when Brian was telling him what to say and then Brian got up and talked for a bit about the event and such which was pretty cool and it was pretty funny bout the hard hat’s comment ha-ha I would if I had one ha-ha and then Brian finished his talking and met up with Leighanne and Baylee for some photo’s and it was time for group A to start their nine holes and group B waited for further instructions since they were setting up the painting area and while we waited we had Baylee and Leighanne talking to us and Baylee was telling us stories which was great because he’s such a great story teller and he made us laugh a lot and my favorite was when he was telling us that Brian Littrell is his daddy and that he was in a magazine and Leighanne was like they know you were in a magazine and we all laughed but Baylee was just adorable for words and I made a lot of eye contact with Leighanne because I couldn’t help it by smiling and laughing along. Leighanne then gave us instructions of what to do of the painting and she also introduced to Baylee’s art teacher and Baylee was being really hyper so Leighanne had to calm him down so we all got our spots and while I was waiting I was sitting next to Prue and hearing stories again and Baylee had just learned to draw tree’s so he was pretty big set on drawing tree’s and he asked me if I was going to draw tree’s for my picture and I was like “I don’t know how to draw tree’s” he goes “I can show you” he felt so proud and I told him okay I just thought it was so cute although I was not sure what to paint so I decided to just go with the flow which in the end turned out pretty good thanks to Prue who helped me with some idea’s (hearts and swirls). Leighanne told Baylee she loved his painting and I looked at her she looks at mine goes “Yeah that’s really nice” and yet I just painted the corner’s I was stuck at the moment until I got a idea *laughs* but when I did finish it she told me she liked it a lot same with Prue made me feel special w00t! Leighanne also did she will try to get Brian to tweet more on Twitter and Tissie and I was like “yes please do”! ha-ha.
While we painted Leighanne hanged out to watch Baylee and Tissie talked to her bout the flag she had and I talked to her bout Broker’s and yet she had no idea what Live Daily was but she knew who the broker’s were, I was pretty surprised. After I got done painting I went to wash my hands because I was a mess and I even got paint on my shoes and my pants ha-ha but I really did enjoy the painting session and I ended up going to buy some Wylee stuff and I got the Color heart with key and the Rock star necklace and a green Ego shirt, w00t!I just hanged out around and talked to a few people and just pretty much chilled and drank water so I wouldn’t be so tired or thirsty later on. I ended up talking to Leighanne’s mother and we was talking about the tour dates and I told her that I should be the booking person and she agreed and we all laughed.Leighanne also showed us some of her Wylee designs of clothes and I thought they were beautiful she said she’s hoping have them up in a week or two. She also showed us the boppy bag she had made and was telling us that it holds a lot because they put Baylee in it and she’s all “we know it holds 40lbs so it’s pretty good” and I just laughed, and She called Brian to see where they were at and she told us to yell hurry up, and she goes “That’s just a reminder” ha-ha and her phone also went off at one point and it was Baylee talking and it was cute. She also explained the story about the ego shirts but I totally forgot but she did tell us what it meant {Edging God out don’t edgeGod out, leave your ego behind} Baylee was golfing so Leighanne went over to take some photo’s and Baylee wanted group B to come watch him so some of us myself included went over to watch and I sat next to Leighanne and I told Baylee I was going to record him so we can show daddy that he is a good golfer ha-ha.
Shortly after we all headed to Brian and the people and I kept walking when Brian was standing going over the rules, I felt like a idiot ha-ha but he was explaining that we should walk ahead of them so we don’t get left behind and out of breath and he also said we had to be quiet but he didn’t have his sign so he will put his hand up in the air to let us know and he thanked us for coming. I stayed pretty much at the end of the line after we hit the first hill because my asthma was getting pretty bad and my inhaler wasn’t working at all so every time we got to a hole I sat in Jordan and Brian’s golf cart and I did ask Jordan if it was okay and I told him why. Baylee and Leighanne came with us for a little bit so Baylee could play with his dad and he hit a straight ball at one time and he hit a put and we all cheered for him and I hanged out with Leighanne for a little bit until she had to leave.Brian was being silly as usual, when he drove by me once he was going “honk honk” and of course I laughed he also made some other noises as he drove by. He gave me some smiles as he drove by as well because truth to be told he drove by me a lot ha-ha because the air and tree’s was messing up with my asthma pretty bad plus I also watched out for Kris. One time when Brian was driving by I asked him if he was going to try run me over again and he was like “Nooo, I gotten better at driving a golf cart” I was like “Are you sure” he goes “Yes” *laughs* I just had to make sure this time. *nods*
It was definitely weird seeing Brian licking his golf balls and we were all aware of his ball grabbing but it was interesting and I did notice that Brian doesn’t lift his legs when he golf’s ha-ha.
On the 13th hole we got our photo’s and his lawyer was making jokes of how his fame is getting in the way of the game and then that the autograph’s were at the next hole ha-ha. I went up and asked for a heart photo since Tissie did something different as well but he goes “I got to hit”! I was like okay that’s fine he’s said something and then I heard flags and hearts as we posed and I went to get my camera and Brian asked me something and I didn’t hear it (of course) and I feel this poke and I turned and it was Brian and I was like “what” and he goes “What” and laughs so I had laughed but he said to hold on as he finished taking rest of the photo’s with fans and I have NO idea what I was holding for and yet I never found out *glares* LOL
At a hole there was a restroom and water so I went to get one and I walked back down the hill and I saw Brian parked right in front of us and I yelled “Brian, do you want some water” and he looks at me, then looks at his cup and goes “No I’m good but thank you” I was like “Okay just making sure because I care” and he goes “thank you again” he looked really surprised but yet cute ha-ha.At one hole I was sitting on the golf cart on the driving side because it has shade and Brian came to the cart to get a golf ball and I was like “I’m not doing anything” as in kidding I didn’t want him to think I was going take the cart and leave or something and he goes “I don’t want you too” *eek* but later he gave me some more smiles so it’s all good. *nods*I was walking to another hole taking my time due to be a small hill and I was balancing myself just keeping myself busy and Brian was driving by and he almost hit my arm ha-ha I was like “sorry Brian” ha-ha! On his way to the last hole he gave me this big smile as I was taking a photo and I was a bit late ha-ha but oh well.So we headed up back to the other’s and I couldn’t make it so this girl offers me a ride on the cart and I told her thank you she saved my life so when I got there I found Tissie and Kris and I ended up following Tissie and she went over to Brian and she took a photo of him with his name tag of “Joe” he goes “if I start having to do photo’s, you’re in trouble” *laughs* and so I was feeling a little out of it so I went to go sit down and I just watched Brian and Leighanne say thank you and their good-bye’s and such. They asked us if we had fun and if they do it again next year and Brian said when it’s not as hot it is now and said around fall but Baylee voted for cold ha-ha and Leighanne asked what was everyone’s favorite and I think we all mostly agreed on the VIP dinner and Brian and Leighanne both agreed.Brian told us thanks for coming, thanks to all who came from all over the world and to be part of the event it makes him feel good to know that everyone wants to be part of the event and help out and then he mentioned that he couldn’t stay due to having to meet sponsors and the BBQ inside but told everyone who was traveling to have safe flights. I told him thanks again for this event and he said thank you and I gave him another hug and I asked if it was possible to do the video and he said no and I knew he felt bad but I told him it’s okay I totally understood, and he was so like happy to see that was okay with and he looked straight deep into my eyes and said thank you and that made me smile and I let him be.I went to say good-bye to Leighanne and gave her a hug and she was surrounded by fans and I just let her be and sat down and watched everyone and whatnot. I wanted to talk to Leighanne a bit more and have her sign my picture but it was just impossible and I didn’t want to take up anymore of her time especially when she said she had to get inside to see her son because he was probability mad.Last thing I know we all left and I was dead tired and sunburned on the ride back to the hotel.
