I’m Taking Off Tour
Nick Carter
February 12th 2012
The day all started out by getting up early morning and be ready to leave the house by 6:30am, we went to McDonald’s and hit the road to the venue which was a hour and half away the drive went by pretty fast which was good.
When we arrived we met up with our friend’s and started the long waiting we have ahead of us and thankfully for Tim Horton’s we were able to use their restroom throughout the day.
The first two hours was pretty brutal due to the cold and sitting on chairs after we got the new idea it was actually pretty warm and time flew by for us, we had tons of laughs, stories, jokes and we ordered pizza from Hungry Howie’s and yes they did delivery to us which was awesome, Mike (Nick’s bodyguard) was outside and I told him hello and he said it was good to see me there ha-ha, I was like awe!
We tried to watch Nick’s chat but it was hard to hear but we did see a little bit of it. As the last few hours to go by was pretty slow it seemed forever until Eddie came out when he finally did we were the first ones to get our passes and we were all very excited. When we were let in we got the front row center for sound-check which was totally awesome. He even let two fans drink his coffee ha-ha.
He sang Fly Away and Free Falling then he answered some questions from the fans and I didn’t get picked but it’s all good.
After sound-check it was time to line up for the photo’s as Nick was on stage talking to some fans I called him over and he looks at me and gives me this hot look and says What’s Up to me he comes over and bends down and I tell him about the bracelet that I had made for him and I and wanted him to have it so he took it from me and said thank you and put it on right away which of course made me smile.
After a few mores seconds I ended up giving him the shirt I had brought him and he ended up reading it and laughed at it I believe he turned it around couple of times LOL. I also got to show him my tattoo and he said “nice, that’s cool” the best part for last was I asked him if I could ask him something since I couldn’t ask during sound-check and so I did and I was very nervous I was even mumbling a little bit but I asked Nick if he would a challenge with me if I lost 70lbs he would do something with me he said “sure” and we made the deal as he grabbed and shook my hand and then he gave little advice don’t over do it and be careful which of course made me smile once again. He also stayed and told us a joke and I remember him looking into my eyes and I totally forgot what he was talking about for a second ha-ha. He asks us “how you know if you say oranges over and over again it starts to sound like gullible” and he wanted us to say it but none of us did so he tried again to get us to say it and we wouldn’t and he laughs and goes damn it LOL it was too funny and the best way to end the sound check and he had to head and start the meet and greet.
Eventually I got up to do my photo and I had a bag of gifts to give him so I told him it was from two fans in Colorado who couldn’t come and I asked him if he wanted me to put it where the other gifts were he said yes. I go up and I asked him I had a idea for the photo and he told me to explain to which I did and he said sure with a smile and we posed for the photo which I think turned out to be amazing cute. After the photo was taken I told him thank you and he reaches to give me a hug (which I totally didn’t expect) and as we hugged I asked him if he saw me tattoo and he told me yes and I told him that I got it yesterday and it hurt, and I cried he all “really” I said no but it did hurt and we both laughed and it made me feel good that I got him to laugh a little then we said good-bye. Another thing that made me smile was that he wore the bracelet through the entire meet and greet! :D
Now was the waiting time to get our spots for the show after what it seemed forever of waiting we all grabbed our spots and we got the section we wanted and most of us got front row but either way we all had a good time we threw marshmallows at Guinevere, and I have to say she was pretty damn good I liked her music. When Nick came on it was amazing best show ever, I singing along, enjoying the eye contact, it turned out to be the best night ever and during Burning Up my friend’s and I threw confetti at him and he loved it so it totally made all of us smile! After the show we went and met Guinevere and said our good-bye’s to everyone then Jamie, Melissa and I went and got some food at Tip Top before we called it a night and the drive home was miserable it took forever!
