We woke up early not that we were expecting too but we got ready and hit the road by 8:30am got to the hotel and met Melissa shortly after and I believe which was great timing since we still had to take a shower and get ready for the VIP and show, although we didn’t make it to the lunch thing at Red Robin but we got to the venue around 4:00pm.
After a short while Leighanne and everyone was setting up for Wylee party, I went over very briefly to say hello and we talked very quickly then we went to stand in line to get our VIP pass, and the waiting took forever and with the heat so after a short while I had to go stand in the shade as I was starting to get sick.
<span> </span>When we were able to start going in, I got my spot and it was in front of Nick and Brian sort of like I was in Denver sound-check and I could see Howie and AJ’s lips perfectly as well so I was very happy! Brian was out already as we were walking up, Baylee and his friend Prue was sitting on the sound box, Brian saw me and smile and I believe waved, shortly after I asked him about the fan chat he did back in February and he said he remembered and then I asked if he remembered a fan asking him to give them a nickname and he thought for a second and said yes and I told him it was me and he goes I knew it was you then I showed him my shirt and he smiled and pointed at it , I was like how did you know? He all I just knew and you’re everywhere” I just laughed. They started sound-check and I loved it, how silly they were being especially Nick trying messed up LaniAkea (the DJ) so he ended up getting him back with silly string, I was laughing they performed If I Knew Then, Drowning and Shattered and I was so happy to finally see them perform Shattered. I also got to ask a question which was to Howie, I figured the question could be for any of the guys or all of them if they wanted to answer but I was so glad to be able to ask it I was hoping for Justin to pick me, explained a little bout my situation I asked if they ever thought about learning sign language to be able to communicate with their fans that are deaf, and I actually have it on video but Brian said that it would be cool which made me smile and I loved it when all the guys including Nick was really into my question. At one point Nick was trying or was taking a photo on his cell, not sure if it had me in it or not but I was posing it with a peace sign and he saw it and nod at me with a huge smile, ha-ha!
<span> </span>The VIP photo’s were next and it was awhile until our time so we just watched the guys and talked, and of course my friend Jamie and I goofed off with LaniAkea and he ended up giving a CD demo to us which is amazing and every so often I would see Nick turning around to look at me, and of course I smiled back lol, I wasn’t sure what to do for my photo to be honest but I had the idea of having the guys “fighting” over me. I went up to Nick first he smiled at me and said hello and gave me a hug, then I went down and got a hug from Howie, Brian and AJ and then I explained how I wanted my photo and I had to repeat it so Howie and Nick got the memo since they were talking when I told AJ and Brian and well it still seems Nick didn’t get the memo or maybe he did I’m not 100% sure but I just went and stood by Nick and I felt his hand on my shoulder so I just grabbed it and I totally wasn’t even aware that Nick came down a bit for the photo or that Howie’s hand was on my arm ha-ha, after the photo was done, I said thank you and walked by and Brian said something I forgot then AJ told me that we had matching smiley’s, I was like huh? And he showed me his socks that had smiley faces, I was like sweet! LOL and I went to go sit down for the VIP tour then I explain to Q what I needed he said it will be okay so I went to take my seat after the VIP photos were done Nick came by to start the tour and of course I couldn’t hear so I got up and went over the rails and sat off to the side in front of him and as I did so he smiled at me, I explained that I had to read his lips ha-ha. Now to me I felt that I heard a lot of talking happening, as for me it’s background noises which my hearing aids can catch but if that is true and a lot of comments/talking was happening I found it very disrespectful, I for one was very interesting in the tour and what Nick had to say as we moved to the backstage part where the changing rooms were Q helped me be in front of Nick so I was able to read his lips which he knew I think he felt a little uncomfortable but not sure ha-ha, after that we headed onto the stage, and he also mentioned about doing a DJ gig in LA which I would loved to attend but not possible, then it was photo time. When it was my turn I walked up and told him hello, and as he signed my pass I asked him if I could have a hug photo and he said sure yeah, so I went in for it and afterwards I handed him a letter from Manu and told him to read it, it was very important and to put in his pocket which he ended up doing and I exit the stage and waited until further instructions but while waiting I was able to meet dancer’s. As we exit we had to go through the back where the tour buses were and as walking I saw AJ and I just smiled at him and further down I saw Brian in his bus and he opened the door and since everyone was “leaving” we made eye contact so I said hello and I happened to see one of his dog’s so I asked if I could pet it, I forgot which one Brian was holding but he let me stand there and pet it, and while everyone else was trying to pet it, Prue had brought me the other one so I could pet it but I’ll admit I fell in love and want one so BAD, I told them all thank you, Baylee was talking but I totally forgot what he was saying but as I was leaving, I asked Brian if he read my card, I was curious and he said yes, I was like did you like it, he goes yes and I told him good-bye and thank you as he walked back inside the tour bus. Now it was time to go see Leighanne and have my friend exchange her shirt and whatnot as walking to the car I met Jamie (another friend) and I talked to Leighanne about a few things like charity and such of course working for Wylee again,I also suggested that I had a idea that could make a lot of money for the HHC and she listened so as I told her we could rent Brian for the hour but I get the first few hours free since it was my idea, and she said she talked bout that before but yeah I had her laughing ha-ha but we also got a photo and I also got the Angel bracelet which she gave me at a discount price, I was in awe but she put it on me and I felt so happy to finally own one!
In between until the concert I met up with Melissa and her friend’s, we talked for a bit, I also met up with another Melissa from the Fan Club, I tried to meet with more but it was hard to go into different section’s, and I also saw Maria. As Jamie and I got to our seats it turned out to be A LOT better than we had thought and I was so happy! Lani pointed at us during his act we were both into it trying to get pumped up for the show as well, and AJ came out which helped of course.
Favorite moments of the night:
-Catching Brian’s towel AGAIN
-Seeing Leighanne on stage for ALAYLM, loved it when Brian said “she’s my wife” too cute!
-AJ doing the rock sign to me, I forgot during which song but loved the eye contact and the moment!
-Got eye contact from all the guys-Interacted with Brian a few times, a smile, wave or some goofy expression
-Nick looked at us a lot
-AJ seemed to smile at us a few times
-AJ coming out in the hooter shorts, I was cracking up so much, especially at Brian’s expression since he couldn’t dance at all ha-ha!
I was so happy to be at this show and I was so sad that it was the last show of the tour and I always wanted to attend the last show of the tour and I got too which was so much fun of course the fun had come and gone so fast and I didn’t want to leave on Sunday, let’s just say the drive back to the airport and having to say good-bye to everyone, especially Jamie it was very hard!
